I’m sure if you’re alive you’re aware of the movement towards a more healthy “Green” society. Our world is an amazing place and there’s only one.
One thought that I’ve been guilty of many times is the feeling of helplessness in regards to the environment, politics, or social change. I would like to challenge myself and all of those who are reading my blog to make a small change in the way you live your life. We need EVERYONE to understand that one person cannot change our world, but many people doing small things will transform the earth. I think that I feel that sense of helplessness a lot in my life. I want different political systems in place, yet each time I vote it doesn’t seem to make that big a difference. But imagine if each of us voted and had our voices be heard….would changes would you see take place then? I think it’s incredibly important to realize our power as a people. A group of people who come together beyond racial, religious, and political lines can create the change we seek. It’s all up to us as individuals to contribute to the whole. It goes right along with all of the books I’ve been reading lately. Being aware of our own actions, with the knowledge that we’re all connected.
Here are a few tips I read about from MusEditions. I’m going to make the commitment to join a recycling program for my trash. Small actions done by many will make the difference.
